Rhayader Rant, Sunday 14th February 2010,

The first running of the Rhayader Rant was held in perfect weather. Although only a small field, the runners experienced a scenic route with very good conditions underfoot leading to fast times.

Tim Davies completed the 8 mile course in a fantastic
46m 30s with his nearest rival Jonathan Pugh not far behind in 48m 51s.

Many thanks to all the volunteer marshals who helped make the day so successful.

Start at 11am from Cwmdeuddwr Hall, Rhayader.

Entries on day club £5, unattached £7

The course will take in an 8mile run over open fells on a circular route from Rhayader over the Elan Valley moors.

The race will form part of a new 3 race multi-terrain series based in Mid-Wales over the winter months organised by Maldwyn Harriers.
