Duration: Our membership runs from 1st April to 31st March the following year 

Membership Types and Costs

Non-Affiliated Member: £6 (£5 RRC membership fee plus £1 transaction fee)

Affiliated Senior Member: £29 (£5 RRC membership fee, £23 Welsh Athletics registration fee plus £1 transaction fee

Affiliated Junior Member (under 20 years of age): £19.50 (£5 RRC membership fee, £14 Welsh Athletics registration fee plus 50p transaction fee)

Club Run Times & Locations

  • Tuesday 6pm meeting at Llandrindod Lake.  There are generally two sessions on a Tuesday: -
    • A ‘Beginners Group’ session which is designed for those either new to running or those who may be coming back into running following an injury   
    • A sociable club session which will normally be around 5 miles and can either be on or off-road depending on season and weather
  • Wednesday 6pm is our main club session in Rhayader, meeting at the Leisure Centre 
    • This session is typically focus based and designed to improve your running but at the same time being fun!
  • Thursday 6pm meeting at Llandrindod Lake
    • Sociable club session different each week so keep an eye on the WhatsApp group and/or Facebook to see what is planned for the week
  • Sunday 9am.  Two club social sessions are offered on a Sunday in varying locations: -
    • A shorter option of between approximately 5 to 10K
    • A longer option of 10K+ with more elevation.  This is generally for the more experienced runners 
    • Both sessions may be a mixture of road and/or trail depending on the route, time of year and weather conditions.
